Emma has practiced in insurance litigation in the ACT and NSW across all major lines of business since 2000. She has conducted a number of large multi-party insurance related claims in which she has achieved excellent results for her clients.

She is a strategic litigator whose focus is on commercial resolution where possible, in order to achieve certainty and the best possible result for her clients, which include self-insurers, most major Australian insurers and government agencies.

Emma advises organisations in the ACT on employment entitlements and acts in the context of terminations, including in Fair Work Australia and the Federal Court. She is regularly instructed by private clients to draft employment contracts and commercial contracts for services.

Emma consistently takes a proactive approach to jurisdictional issues and issues such as sham contracting and obligations under the new nationally uniform Work Health legislation.

She is an appointed auditor to the ACT Government Shared Services Industrial Relations and Employment Obligations Strategy.

Her other areas of work include commercial litigation, property transactions including acting for developers, corporate compliance and estate planning and litigation.
